Terms of Service

By installing or using Motorii ("the App"), you agree to these terms. They're written in plain language on purpose.

What Motorii is

Motorii is an AI-assisted diagnostic guidance tool for passenger cars. You describe a symptom in plain language and optionally attach a photo. The App returns a list of likely causes, severity, DIY difficulty, and a cost range — alongside community-sourced reports from other owners of the same make and model.

What Motorii is not

Motorii is informational only. It is not:

• A substitute for inspection and repair by a certified mechanic.
• A substitute for medical, legal, or professional advice of any kind.
• A guarantee of accuracy. AI diagnoses are estimates, not certainties.
• A connection to your vehicle's on-board diagnostics (OBD2). Motorii does not read fault codes or interface with any hardware.

Any action you take — driving, not driving, ordering parts, authorizing repair work — is your decision and your responsibility. Motorii, its operators, and its contributors are not liable for outcomes of those decisions.

Purchases and credits

Motorii sells credit packs as one-time, non-subscription in-app purchases through Apple. Each credit unlocks one diagnosis plus a set number of follow-up messages, as described on the in-app paywall.

• Credits are consumable. Once spent on a diagnosis, they cannot be refunded.
• Unused credits do not expire.
• Credits are tied to your App Store account; they cannot be transferred.
• Prices and currency are set by Apple's App Store for your region and may vary. Apple handles all billing.
• Refund requests are handled by Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com, per Apple's refund policy.

Acceptable use

Don't use the App to submit content that is unlawful, fraudulent, harassing, or intended to reverse-engineer or disrupt the service. Automated or bulk use of the diagnostic endpoint is prohibited.

Intellectual property

The Motorii name, logo, app design, and content (excluding user-submitted descriptions and photos) are owned by Motorii. You retain ownership of what you submit. By submitting content, you grant Motorii a limited license to process it solely to generate your requested diagnosis.

Warranty disclaimer

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that diagnoses will be accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Motorii's total liability arising out of or related to the App is limited to the amount you paid for credits in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

Termination

You can stop using the App at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or terminate access for users who abuse the service or violate these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms as the App evolves. Material changes will be announced on the landing page for at least 30 days before taking effect.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Istanbul, Türkiye, unless local consumer-protection law grants you a different right.
